I've been photographing the Magellan Daisies for a few years now, and they have been flowering the same week. This one is my Magellan Daisy - given to me when it had to be relocated as a path was being built.
Some projects take longer than others - this is one of the longer ones. at the start of my 3rd year on this project, I'm still no closer to finding out any more about how this plant was brought to Caithness from South America - was it a whaler from Caithness bringing it back from South America for his sweetheart? I'd like to think so.
